This lovely vintage oil on board painting shows a typical country house
The painting has an initial in the bottom left hand corner and a date for 1967. The house name is also written at the bottom "Manoir de Clesville" We think the artist has spelt this wrong as we have found the manoir de Cleville on the internet, it is exactly this property which is a 15th century manoir which was declared a monument historique in 1979. Its really great when you can link the painting to an actual property and see the photos of it.
The overall condition is good there are a few minor scratches and marks here and there but nothing too bad.
A charming little French painting that would enhance any home decor and bring a bit of French rural charm to your home.
