This lovely vintage oil on board painting shows a typical country scene with a lady sat outside her cottage with her cat. There are cattle in the field and chickens scratching around the yard.
The painting has a signature in the bottom right hand corner which looks like P Bayen or Bayer and a date for 1967.
It is quite naively painted but has a certain charm and nice faded colours.
A charming little French painting that would enhance any home decor and bring a bit of French rural charm to your home.
