Here we have a lovely chalk ware statue depicting Saint Therese of Lisieux.
A statue that really exudes beauty and serenity.
She is modelled holding a cross and flowers.
The condition overall is good, there are a few chips here and there and some paint loss in places, you can see a little bit of paint loss down her dress and around the base of the statue. This is very common on these old pieces as they are very easy to chip.
The sculpture has captured the flowing robes very well, you can see this very clearly in the photo of the back.
A wonderful old statue that would make a fabulous addition to any collection and would look magnificent on display anywhere in the home.
