English antique cake stand.
A lovely antique cake stand decorated in a lovely design with flowers and cottages.
I originally thought this cake stand was French looking at the design but realised by the mark underneath it is actually English and a nice early piece.
This splendid stand has the makers mark stamped underneath for BWM and Co and the pattern Hecla. BWM is Brown Westhead Moore and Co. who produced quality earthenwares and porcelain in Hanley, Stoke on Trent from 1862 to 1904 which helps with the dating of the piece.
The overall condition is good,I can see no chips or cracks.
Ideal for impressing your guests at your afternoon teas.
A wonderful piece that would fit in very well with any home decor.
