Antique letter rack with 3 tiers. Large mahogany letter holder.
A splendid piece of country house decor, this lovely antique mahogany letter rack is just the thing to give your house a stately home feel. This is a wall hanging rack not a desk top rack and there are a couple of little hooks on the back for hanging purposes.
There are three little shelves and the edges have the added bonus of having stringing which adds a quality feel. The shelves are angled backwards as you can see and are quite shallow for letters perhaps letters back then were a little slimmer in size.
The overall condition is good with just a few very minor knocks here and there as you would expect on an antique item such as this.
There is a tiny corner chip off the base at the rear which will have been done many many years ago. I have pointed this out in the photos.
A beautiful old original antique full of charm and character, that would add a real country house feel to your home decor.
