Here we have a lovely set of six classical French bronze pediments that would probably have originally been on a piece of antique furniture. I would think they date to the early twentieth century when there was a revival of the eighteenth century taste in furniture. There are three pairs of differing sizes, two of each.
They are in the classical French Louis style and are in good condition. There is just some light tarnishing and the odd little bit of verdi gris here and there.
As you can see from one of the photos the smallest pair of mounts are concave, so they are not flat.
There are small holes present to enable easy fixing to any surface that you desire.
A fabulous set of highly decorative ormolu mounts that would make wonderful decorative additions to your home.
Ideal if you are creating that French boudoir look, real pieces of French antique architectural salvage.
