French pie shaped terrine. Vintage French terrine. Vintage cooking pot.
Here we have a wonderful example of a French vintage terrine which actually looks good enough to eat.
It is in a nice condition and has a lovely swirling patterned decoration to the top. The whole piece is so life like you just want to pick it up and eat it. you have to be careful taking the lid off as there is no handle just a small steam hole in the centre.
This is a real genuine rustic old pot and would have been used in the French country kitchen for the cooking and storing of pates.
The lovely decoration really adds to that rustic country feel with this beautiful old pot.
