Art Deco style plaque.
Here we have a fabulously stylish wall plaque in the Art Deco style.
It dates from 1987 and has two very stylish big cats in front of a map of Normandy.
I think it may be bronze as it is very weighty for it‘s size.
We think the plaque relates to some kind of expo or event in the Normandy town of Lisieux on the dates of the 12 th and 13 th Juin 1987.
The overall condition is good, it does have some bobblng to the surface as if it may have had a fine lacquer over it in the past, you can see this bobbling in the photos.
A splendid plaque in the Art deco style and an item that I would love to hang on my own wall.
